Poetry and Art – Fall Season

It has been a wonderful summer, and it is difficult to let go of the warm days where I spent so much time outdoors in the garden and walking my dog. The leaves have changed colours, the days are becoming shorter and cooler, and even though Fall comes every year in Calgary it always seems to soon.

Mother nature tries her best to break it to us gently but it still seems a little sad.

This is my attempt at playing with art & poetry. I’ve been attempting to make a sympathy card for a dear friend of mine, this is one of them.

Is it worth framing? and is it somber enough to give a greiving friend?

About artist and illustrator

I'm a textile artist, resourceful and excited about making things. Dog walks with my pooch "Charlie" is inspiring and an opportunity to develop ideas from nature and people whom we meet on our strolls. There is a story behind my art making, it's in the series, I don't make just one but many from the same idea, but! not one will look like the other, each piece of art is "one-of-a-kind".
