Grandma’s Smile – Children’s Book Review

Children bring smiles to all and in this wonderfully illustrated book by Dyanne Disalvo one little boy does just that. Are you preparing for a vacation? or taking a plane ride with children? Grandma’s Smile by Randy Siegel will prepare your child for the airport line ups; for food, washrooms and security, plus getting a boarding pass.

It’s Grandma that is in need of a little cheering up and who better to do the job than her grandson. This six year old is the narrator of this story and has extraordinary patience with the crowds along with the confusion that goes on in the airport. The illustrations are so well done in describing the variety of people in an airport including the uniformed personnel.

Grandma's Smile

Enjoy this book especially for children ages five and up.

About artist and illustrator

I'm a textile artist, resourceful and excited about making things. Dog walks with my pooch "Charlie" is inspiring and an opportunity to develop ideas from nature and people whom we meet on our strolls. There is a story behind my art making, it's in the series, I don't make just one but many from the same idea, but! not one will look like the other, each piece of art is "one-of-a-kind".
