Dog Therapy Day

Happy Easter – Today at YYC airport these two “Pet Therapy Dogs” chilled on the marbled floor in the new departure area. Charlie was particularly curious about the Buffalo sculpture. He must have thought that it could be a new member to his pack, but he discovers that it’s the lead sculpture of a herd of Buffalo, made of marble and granite. Darby on the other hand loved her massage therapy on the floor.

By the end of our shift the dogs took a well deserved nap while us humans chatted over a coffee, while petting our dogs:)

Earlier this week we celebrated PALS (Pet Access League Society) one year anniversary at YYC airport as Pre-Boarding PALS – PET ME – Pet therapy.

About artist and illustrator

I'm a textile artist, resourceful and excited about making things. Dog walks with my pooch "Charlie" is inspiring and an opportunity to develop ideas from nature and people whom we meet on our strolls. There is a story behind my art making, it's in the series, I don't make just one but many from the same idea, but! not one will look like the other, each piece of art is "one-of-a-kind".
